In high-resolution file, every single frame is sharp and focused from eye to feather.
This crested serpent eagle was being harassed by a crow. Not sure what was the reason behind, but it definitely helped shorten my wait for the eagle to fly. I managed to get a continuous shot of it’s flight against the beautiful blue sky.
Usually eagles either fly into the forest with it’s backside towards me, or fly overhead me;
However in this case, this is a perfect situation with it flying sideways. Thanks to Nikon D500’s 153 AF points and 10FPS capability, all 11 frames are sharp and focused.
