Red Junglefowl
Singapore Endangered Wildlife

The Red Junglefowl is listed as Endangered on Singapore Red Data Book due to poaching and interbreeding with domesticated chickens.

Pulau Ubin, an offshore island of Singapore, is still considered the stronghold for this species since 1980s.
In recent years, a few families of Red Junglefowl have been thriving in the mangrove park of Pasir Ris in the North-east region of Singapore.
